You become excited about life again by discovering a new higher version of you. You’re probably going through what most people go through when they have finished some milestones in their lives and then feel stagnant. Most people go through the steps laid before them like high school, college, career, college, marriage, and then kids. This is one path from a million other ways to achieve excitement and happiness.
I have a theory that when you’re born into this world you are an entity preconditioned from the environment and authority figures. Maybe you’re a recreation of the culmination of karmic forces, who knows. And as you’re developing through life constantly making decisions towards some version of what you deeply desire. Most of the time your intentions are carving the path towards that initial version of you.
Then as you experience the highs and lows of life, your primary identity evolves into unique iterations of inner expressions.
If you feel like you’ve lost touch with your dreams, it’s time to take a fresh start of understanding and experiencing more about love. Your deeper love. I found this book to be refreshing – “Eat, Pray, Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert or “Wild” by Cheryl Strayed.
